On July 21, 2021, Miami Beach residents were invited to attend the first-ever “Inspirational Visioning Workshop for a Resilient Miami Beach in 2070.” The virtual event showcased architectural renderings of historic neighborhoods by Florida International University students who were asked to imagine a future that will be shaped by climate change, sea level rise, sustainability, innovation and you!
Following brief presentations, guests were asked to engage with the student images and then invited to share their overall impressions in small breakout groups.
